4 minutes 40 seconds| Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, is also the name of a psychedelic drug: 2,5-dimethoxy-3,4-dimethylamphetamine.
This is two pieces joined, where the second half is the introductory theme played backwards with melodic embellishment. The precise chronology is not recalled, but the break in time may have been as much as a year before both compositions were brought together. The second theme dates from the passing of my father.
